Gallery Submission Guidelines

Submitting pictures to the character portrait gallery is generally easiest if you just send the pictures to me directly via an email attachment. Be sure to include with your submission your preferred name, as well as any email address and/or web page URL that you'd like posted with your work. Submitting three or more portraits gets you your own page in the gallery. (Drop me a note first if you don't have my email address, and I'll reply with the address to which you should send your submissions.)

I can accept most standard file formats, including Paint Shop Pro's PSP format (I use Paint Shop Pro as my graphics program), but not native Photoshop files. As a general rule, I convert all formats into JPG for use on the web site. GCA does not support GIF at this time, due to a limitation of the graphics library it uses.

I don't have a set size requirement for the gallery. Try to pick a size that you can live with, and that doesn't soak up too many KB. If the pic feels too large to me (generally anything over 800x600 or 150KB+), I am likely to resize it myself.

While I personally have no problems with nudity, I do place some limits on it for the gallery, due to the nature of the site. Partial nudity is generally acceptable, while exposed genitalia generally is not. If you have any doubts, feel free to ask.

Please keep in mind that it's a portrait gallery, so I'm generally only interested in character portraits, not group shots or scenery or other such things. Other than that, I'm pretty lenient on what exactly constitutes a character portrait.
